I thought it timely to share this today as I decided today to train for the MARATHON ! My first ever.

Yes it's a crazy idea running 30min 3x/week to suddenly over 3hrs with only 3 weeks to train before the May 11 marathon, but I figured why not if I run it in 3hr 33min it would be timely :)

Although I've run the 10km in 33min, running 42km is going to be far slower and a 1st time experience. 30km+ will be the killer point.

Gear: iPod nano, "NIKE+iPod" kit, iTunes, running shoes, & off you go!

The NIKE+iPod sensor is really cool ! Place the sensor under the sole of your shoe & while running with your iPod it tracks all your running data from your speed, distance, time, calories, etc. It syncs with iTunes so you can share your running tempo graphs, goals, 'n great stuff with friends around the world too. 3 beachside cafes/restaurants I highly recommend when you're visiting Cannes, in Juan Les Pins:

Plage Du Colombier - for romantic dinners or relaxing lunches
Plage Le Petit - when you like to eat almost in the sea
Plage Le Trident - a super cool wifi restaurant/cafe

Average prices FYI:
4 euro coffee/cappuccino
5 euro - beer 33cl
12 euro - pizza
12-20 euro - meal

Beachside Lifestyle

After raining all week, the Sun has finally come out in Cannes on Sunny Sunday.
Cannes has an average of 10 days rain/year, but this week while here it was hit with half of that ! :(
