Living a Mobile Lifestyle - part 2

With the new iPhone 3G to come out on July 11, at 1/2 the price & thinness and 2x the speed & data-size, there's been a frenzy of interested buyers (including me) who CANT WAIT to buy it (as their 1st or 2nd iPhone). But I was shocked at some who "think" it's not worth it. One of these people include my sister so I decided to post this as part 2 to SHOW the VALUE of having an iPhone so you can all decide more intelligently ! :)

Remember if you're one of many who are complaining you just dont have enough time, then here's some food for thought:

- Just 8 min/day saved gives you a bonus 3 days/year !
Do you want an "extra" 3 days/year ? What would you do with those bonus 3 days? Your iPhone WILL save you those 8 min/day.

- Add to those 8min/day saved those "priceless" moments too, like the joy of sharing an experience with a close friend or sister live, and I'd definitely say the $200 pricetag is worth far more than that !

Or look at it this way - lets say your hourly fee is $50/hour, thats just 4 hours (240 min) you need to save to make it worthwhile ! You'll save more than 240 min the first month ! Its a no brainer ! Here are just a few examples:

VOICE NOTES:
Or "Voicemail" as I like to use.
Save time but "talking" your email, not "typing" it, then email it off.
Great for dead times while stuck in traffic, waiting in a queue, suntanning, lying in bed, coming up with ideas needing detail, or just express emotions better than an SMS text or email.

PHOTOS:
A picture tells 1000 words, so send & share a pic live from the spot you're at - they'll feel they are there with you, it's great !

TRAVEL:
Be free, be anywhere ! You no longer need to stay stuck in the office or at home online waiting for an email reply, you can do it anywhere. You're free! Emails are synced with gmail so its also even faster checking emails on your iphone than on your PC or MAC coz you're always logged in. Just 1 click away! (I am NOT saying you should always be checking our emails though ! Far from it. Chapter 4 in my book covers emailing).

CONVERTING:
Its also much faster converting stuff on your iPhone.
Anything from currency and clothing, to weights and weather, at your fingertips in just 2 clicks ! 3 seconds on iPhone vs. 3minutes on PC.

SHOPPING:
Save your shopping list as photos in one album. Send photos live to your partner to show what you intend to buy, confirm, 'n buy. Saves time going back to the shop or explaining on the phone.
